<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with a deodorization effect by a cost reduction structure by making a component required only for deodorization unnecessary. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 includes: an air conditioner case 3 and 5 having an air inhaling opening and an air exhaling opening; an air blowing unit 4 provided in the air conditioner case 3 and 5; a heat exchanger 6 for cooling for cooling air generated by the air blowing unit 4; a drain water pipe 8 for discharging dew condensation water generated from the heat exchanger 6 for cooling to the outside of the air conditioner case 3 and 5; and various kinds of sensors etc. 100, 101, 102 and 103; and a control section 106. An odor amount sensor 100 for determining whether an odor amount of the air is higher than a predetermined value is provided at an upstream side of the heat exchanger 6 for cooling. The control section 106 includes a dew condensation water increase control means which increases dew condensation water generated by the heat exchanger 6 for cooling when it is determined by an odor amount determination means that the odor amount detected by the odor amount sensor 100 is higher than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
