<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the residual amount of toner in a toner container without causing erroneous detection. <P>SOLUTION: A toner conveyance device includes: a toner container having a container body in which toner is accommodated, a discharge port which is provided on the container body and discharges toner, and a conveyance means 32 which is rotatably provided on the container body and conveys the toner toward the discharge port; and a driving unit having drive means 55 for driving the conveyance means 32, detection means 57 which detects the rotation frequency of the conveyance means 32 and outputs rotation frequency detection signals, and control means 79 which estimates the residual amount of toner in the toner container based on the accumulated number of rotation frequency detection signals outputted from the detection means 57. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
