摘要 This method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescence element (1) includes: a first step in which an anode (11), an organic layer (30) containing a light-emitting layer (13), and a cathode (16) comprising a transparent material are layered in that order, yielding an organic EL element (1A) having a short-circuit defect part; a second step in which said organic EL element (1A) is irradiated with laser light from the cathode (16) side; a third step in which the intensity of light emitted from the organic EL element (1A) as a result of multiphoton absorption of the laser light is measured; a fourth step in which the focal point of the laser light in the layering direction is changed and the second and third steps are executed to identify the focal point, in the layering direction, that minimizes the intensity of the aforementioned emitted light; and a fifth step in which laser light is shined at the identified layering-direction focal point to eliminate problems stemming from the short-circuit defect part.
