<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which accuracy of detecting the motion of a subject is more improved. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus according to the present invention is provided with: an imaging sensor which takes a subject image and generates an image; a motion detection part which detects the motion of the subject, in plural areas in the generated image; a luminance detection part which detects luminance in each of the areas subjected to the motion detection; an adjustment part which adjusts weighting of a detected motion detection amount in accordance with the detected luminance, in each of the areas subjected to the motion detection; and a determination part which determines the motion of the subject on the basis of the motion detection amount after weighting of the areas subjected to the motion detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
