In order to provide a turbofan and an air conditioner for which separation of the airflow at the surface of the blades is suppressed and noise due to turbulent flow is reduced, a blade front-edge-side stepped part (5), having a recessed part (5a) that extends so as to nearly conform to the blade inner circumferential side front edge part (4a1) and the blade side-plate-side front edge part (4a2) and recedes in the thickness direction of the blade (4), and a sloping part (5b) for which the thickness of the blade (4) gradually increases from the recessed part (5a) toward the blade rear edge part (4b), is formed near the blade front edge part (4a) of the blade pressure face (4c), which is the front face with respect to the direction of rotation of the blade (4), and/or the blade negative pressure face (4d), which is the rear face with respect to the direction of rotation of the blade (4).
