<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress leakage of a refrigerant when a lead wire of a coil is drawn out from a cooling jacket surrounding a coil end in a rotating electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A stator of a rotating electric machine includes: a stator core 22; a coil which is wound within a slot disposed in the axial direction of the stator core 22 and has winding ends projecting at front and rear ends in the axial direction of the stator core 22 as coil ends and in which one ends of winding wires are drawn outwardly as lead wires 52, 54, 56; and an annular cooling jacket 30 producing a liquid-tight state between the front and rear ends in the axial direction of the stator core 22 and having a space inside for storing the coil ends and cooling oil. The cooling jacket 30 is provided in a predetermined height position h above an upper end 25 of the coil end based on a position of the upper end 25, and has an opening 40 from which the lead wires 52, 54, 56 are drawn outwardly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
