<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil composition for a diesel engine, which can easily dissolve various types of additives added to the composition because of excellent solubility and can secure the good filterability performance. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel oil composition for a diesel engine has a distillation property of a 10-vol% distillation temperature of 180°C to 235°C, a 90-vol% distillation temperature of 326.5 to 337.0°C, and a sulfur content of ≤10 ppm by mass, a saturation content of 73.8 to 80.6 vol%, an aromatic content of 19.4 to 26.2 vol%, wherein the content of bicyclic aromatics in the aromatic content is ≤3.0 vol% and the content of tri- or more polycyclic aromatics is ≤0.5 vol%, the content of paraffins of 37.3 to 44.3 vol%, and a kauri-butanol value of 26.7 to 31.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
