LED COMPONENT AND LED STRING USING LED COMPONENTS

Disclosed are an LED component and an LED string using the LED components. The LED component includes an input port, an output port, a primary LED, a spare LED and a switching module. The switching module controls the spare LED to be cut off when the primary LED is on, and controls the spare LED to turn on when the primary LED burns out. Therefore, the service life of the LED string using the LED components in the device such as backlight module is prolonged.
