<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods, compositions and kits for affinity isolation, affinity purification and affinity assay based on microbubbles coated with an affinity molecule. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides microbubbles coated with a protein affinity molecule. In addition, the invention provides microbubbles coated with a glass affinity molecule. Methods of using the microbubbles for isolating analytes and cells are specifically provided.
