<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for vehicle 1 such that a light emission part which illuminates like crystal is formed through transmitted illumination without using any dedicated component. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument for vehicle includes a light source 8 which is arranged on a reverse surface of a display plate 3 having an index part 10 and illuminates the display plate 3 through transmission, and a meter transparent cover 2 which is supported by a meter case 15 and a meter hood part 15a to cover the display plate 3. The meter transparent cover 2 has a first projection part 2a which covers the index part 10 of the display plate 3, a recessed part 2b which extends adjacently to the first projection part 2a along an outer peripheral side of the index part 10, and a second projection part 2c which forms the recessed part 2b with the first projection part 2a. The instrument for vehicle has an uneven part (diamond-cut part etc.) 20, having a plurality of reflecting inclined surfaces reflecting light from the light source 8, on a reverse surface of the recessed part 2b.The light emission part which illuminates as the light from the light source 8 is reflected by the plurality of reflecting inclined surfaces 20a of the uneven part 20 can be formed integrally with the meter transparent cover 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
