<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure that can be assembled without damaging a sealing property in a fitted part between one bearing race and a slinger so as to prevent scratches that are likely to induce leakage of grease to an outer space and intrusion of foreign substances such as moisture and dust present in the outer space into an annular space. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous portion of the surface of an inner ring 19a is simultaneously ground by a formed rotary grinding stone after the inner ring 19a is subjected to heat treatment, the continuous portion being composed of the portion of a slinger fitting surface 20, the portion of a chamfered portion 25a and the portion a joint 27a connecting these portions. Thus, the entire continuous portion is formed as a flat smooth surface in which a corner which can not be differentiated with respect to a cross-sectional shape thereof is not present. A cylindrical part 15 is press-fitted to the slinger fitting surface 20 so that the inner circumferential face of the cylindrical part 15 is not scratched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
