摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle visual inspection apparatus capable of identifying the kind of a defect that occurs in a nozzle hole, and a nozzle visual inspection method. <P>SOLUTION: A nozzle visual inspection apparatus 100 comprises image input means 60 which captures an image of an opening of a nozzle hole, binarization means 61 which produces a binarized image of the captured image, contour detection means 62 which detects an inner contour and an outer contour of the nozzle hole from the binarized image, approximate cicle calculation means 63 which calculates an inner contour approximate circle that is an approximate circle of the inner contour and an outer contour approximate circle that is an approximate circle of the outer contour, flag setting means 64 which compares the inner contour and the outer contour with the inner contour approximate circle and the outer contour approximate circle and sets to points on the inner contour and the outer contour feature flags indicating features of shapes of the inner contour and the outer contour, and defect detection means 65 which sets a defect flag indicating the kind of a defect on the basis of the feature flags and detects the kind of the defect and its position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
