<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleated air cleaning filter having low pressure loss and high dust collection efficiency, in which the dust collection efficiency is prevented from decreasing when a filter medium having low pressure loss and high dust collection efficiency using nanofibers is folded. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning filter 1 includes a base material layer 13 that consists of an aggregate of at least one selected from the group consisting of pulp fibers, resin fibers, carbon fibers, and inorganic fibers, and a fine fiber layer 14 that is arranged on a surface of the base material layer 13 and contains fibers having an average fiber diameter of 10-1,000 nm as a constituent. The base material layer 13 is composed of the aggregates of two or more kinds of fibers that have different dust collection efficiencies, and is folded at a part of the aggregate of the fiber with the highest dust collection efficiency among aggregates of the fibers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
