METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SOFT MAGNETIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a soft magnetic composite material suitable for a core of a reactor.

SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a soft magnetic composite material includes the steps of: preparing soft magnetic powder having a density ratio represented by (apparent density/true density)×100 of more than 45% and 70% or less; mixing the soft magnetic powder 10 with a resin 20 by adjusting viscosity of the resin 20 at a resin temperature at the mixing to 100 mPa s-100 Pa s; and filling the mixed material into a mold 3 at filling pressure of an atmospheric pressure or more and 1 MPa or less, and curing the resin to obtain a molded body. According to this method, the soft magnetic composite material having a certain degree of high filling rate can be obtained by using the soft magnetic powder having a predetermined density ratio.
