The system has rotation transducer-type-specific adapter modules (200a) with signal conditioning circuits (203a) for conditioning signals (S3a, S4a) provided by a rotation transducer-type-specific rotation transducer hardware. The conditioned signals comprise input signals (S5, S6) for a rotation transducer-type-non specific evaluation module (100), where a rotational angle signal is produced as a function of the input signals. An external storage (201) of the adapter modules is provided with a rotation transducer-type-specific configuration for a logic device of the evaluation module. The logic device is designed as a field programmable gate array (FPGA). The evaluation module is designed in the form of an evaluation module circuit board, and the adapter modules are designed as a rotation transducer-type-specific adapter module circuit board. The rotation transducer hardware comprises a resolver hardware.
