CONSTITUTION: A method for promoting cell division and enhancing cell population comprises a step of overproduction of superoxide anion(O_2^-) using a gene encoding protein containing an amino acid of sequence number 2. The gene has a base of sequence number 1. The gene contains a recombinant vector for intracellular transmission. The cell is a plant cell. A method for suppressing cell aging comprises O_2^- overproduction.
