PURPOSE: A welding device for forming back beads is provided to control the length and thickness of a length fixing member according to work environment and remove a process for attaching a backing material using a separate member. CONSTITUTION: A welding device for forming back beads comprises a welding body(100) and a backing module(200). The welding body is movable on a base material, and the welding body includes a welding module(110) creating arc at the front side to implement welding using a welding tip as a medium. The backing module is arranged separately from the welding module and forms back beads at the underside of a weld portion between base materials. The backing module includes a fixing unit which is attached to the front side of the welding body with one end rotatable and a backing unit which is coupled to the other end of the fixing unit and has a back bead formation groove on one side thereof.
