<p>PURPOSE: A case for secondary battery and a secondary battery equipped with the same are provided to prevent separation of a positive plate from a negative plate and to enhance adhesion of the plates. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises an electrode assembly(10) consisting of first and second electrode plates, a separator(13) placed between the plates, and battery cases(110,120) equipped with accepting parts(111) which accept the electrode assembly. The depth of the accepting part is 70-80 % of the thickness of the electrode assembly. The case for the secondary battery is a pouch which includes the first case part and the second case part. The accepting part is included in one or more of the first and the second case parts. The first case part and the second case part are formed with different materials.</p> |
