PURPOSE: A system for managing use authorization of an application installed in a near field communication portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to enable an only permitted user to use an only permitted function of the application. CONSTITUTION: A near field communication portable terminal(100) controls that an application executes an only function corresponding to use authorization information when smart card identification information is matched with the use authorization information. A relay server(200) transmits the smart card identification information, user identification information, and application authorization request information to an authorization management server(300).
