TRANSGENIC PIG EXPRESSING HO-1 AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A transgenic pig and the use thereof are provided to reduce oxidative stress while culturing in vitro. CONSTITUTION: A transgenic pig expresses HO-1 gene. The HO-1 is expressed from the tail, ear, tissue, or blood of a pig. Oxidative stress occurs in the transfer of organ. Oxidative stress resistivity suppresses apoptosis. A pig is produced as follows. Somatic cells are separated from a pig. The human HO-1 gene is introduced into the somatic cells. The somatic cells are sorted and cultivated. The nucleus of the pig ovum is eliminated. A fertilized egg is produced. The fertilized egg is implanted.
