摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material substance for a lithium secondary battery having high lithium-ion conductivity and high electron conductivity by manufacturing lithium iron phosphate of olivine structure containing primary particles uniformly covered with a minimum amount of carbon, having a small primary particle size, and having a uniform particle size, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same and achieving high initial discharge capacity at a low rate, and high discharge capacity even at a high rate (a short-time charge discharge test). <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode active material substance for a lithium secondary battery is a lithium iron phosphate compound of olivine structure partly or entirely covered with carbon which is not particulate, the crystallite size of lithium iron phosphate is equal to or larger than 30 nm and smaller than 300 nm, and the carbon content is equal to or higher than 0.5 wt.% and equal to or lower than 5.0 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
