<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a bottleneck related to an input of trace data into a simulation device for performing a performance simulation of a processor. <P>SOLUTION: The simulation device is configured to input compressed trace data that is compressed by indexing addresses in trace data according to an address table, and causes a trace restoration section to refer to the address table and restore the trace data from the compressed trace data. A performance simulator is configured to execute a performance simulation of a processor using the restored trace data to reduce the amount of data to be input in the simulation device by data reduction of the address, thereby improving the bottleneck related to the input of the trace data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
