<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire improved ride comfort by improving a flat spot characteristic while maintaining high speed durability. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire includes a belt constituted of a cord crossing layer of at least two layers arranged on the crown outer periphery of a radial carcass, and a belt reinforcing layer wound along the outer periphery of the belt and covering the belt whole width. The belt reinforcing layer is constituted of a polyester cord formed of polyester fiber, and the polyester cord is 4.5% or lower in intermediate ductility under a 0.020 N/dtex load, and a polyester fiber use quantity per area 100 cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of a tread when formed as the tire is 1.0-3.0 g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
