<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of impressions by enlarging diameters of rollers that make the slide operation of upper rails smooth without enlarging a slide device in the height direction. <P>SOLUTION: The slide device 10 for a vehicular seat includes: lower rails 11 fixed on the floor; the upper rails 12 assembled on the lower rails 11 so as to make sliding motion possible and fixed on the vehicular seat; and rollers 14 arranged in the height direction by being clamped between the upper rails 12 and the lower rails 11 to make the sliding motion of the upper rails 12 smooth by rolling. On each of the upper rails 12, an accommodation portion 12E is formed that can accommodate the rollers 14.
