<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent occurrence of galling by suppressing contact of kneading rotors with a barrel in a biaxial extruder. <P>SOLUTION: The biaxial extruder includes: the barrel 2 in which two circular through-holes 4 are formed inside in parallel so that inner wall faces of the circular through-holes 4 are overlapped with each other; and the kneading rotors stored in the circular through-holes 4 inside the barrel 2, respectively. At least one or more kneading flights that can knead a material are provided on the outer peripheral sides of the kneading rotors. A contact avoidance part avoiding tips of the kneading flights from coming into contact with the inner wall faces of the circular through-holes 4 is formed in a mounting part 6 inside the barrel 2 where the two circular through-holes 4 intersect with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
