<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll, which exhibits a high liquid removing function and which has excellent wear resistance, and to provide a washing device mounted with the roll. <P>SOLUTION: The roll 1 is for eliminating, squeezing and washing liquid such as moisture, oil and chemical components adhered to a steel plate, a non-ferrous metal plate, a resin plate or a film-like washed surface, and the roll 1 includes a roll part 2 and a pedestal 3. The pedestal 3 includes: a body part 7 formed with the roll part 2 in the periphery thereof; a joint part A8 and a joint part B9 continuously provided to both ends of the body part 7. The roll part 2 is formed by laminating a plurality of substantially annular roll pieces 4a and 4b formed from a non-woven fabric 17. The non-woven fabric 17 includes: a fiber bundle 22 obtained by forming multiple extra-fine fibers 21 into a bundle; and a polymer elastic body 27 which binds the fiber bundle 22.
