<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new option for treating dry eye. <P>SOLUTION: The galenical composition contains fuchsia gin or glehnia root, and gouquizi, and ophiopogon tuber. The new option for treating the dry eye without instillation and surgical treatment can be provided by the galenical composition. As a result, the treatment is expected as a treating method different from three concepts which are the concepts for treating the dry eye of (1) a lacrymal fluid-replenishing therapy, (2) the close of an excretory duct of the lacrymal fluid, and (3) the treatment of epidermal deficiency of cornea and conjunctiva formed on the surface of the eyeball.
