<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage tank which is strong enough to resist earth pressure, having excellent workability and which can be constructed more safely. <P>SOLUTION: Rows of support members composed by adjacently disposing support members 4 in a row in a state of their joint surfaces being in contact with each other are arranged in parallel at required intervals, so that a parallel body of support members is composed. In two adjacent rows of support members selected, upper bed support parts 5 and 5 in the support members 4 and 4 which face each other are set in a same height, and an L-shaped member 51 is supported by the upper bed support parts 5 and 5. The L-shaped member 51 is in a L-shape in which a horizontal slab 24 is protrusively formed in the lower part of a vertical standing wall part 8. The vertical standing wall part 8 is placed on the upper bed support part 5 of a support member 4a, which is either of the support members facing each other, and is erected while being fixed to the upper bed support part.
