<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generating source cooling system that prevents degradation in cooling efficiency to be caused when warm air and cold air are mixed, without installing an aisle cap. <P>SOLUTION: The heat generating source cooling system includes a server rack 3, a local air conditioner 2, and a controller that controls the server rack 3 and the local air conditioner 2. The heat generating source cooling system further includes an air flow detecting sensor 6 which detects an air flow that passes an air passage, in the air flow which can move between a cold air area 41 and a warm air area 42 without passing the local air conditioner 2, near the local air conditioner 2. The controller, when an air flow detection sensor 6 detects an air flow, controls a distribution means 24 of the local air conditioner 2 or a distribution means 32 of the server rack 3 so that the air flow detected by the air flow detection sensor 6 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
