The specified flat bag (1) is made of a flexible, heat-sealable material and has opposite-lying front walls (2,2') that are arranged between the folded side walls (3) and a base (4), where the side walls are arranged between the front walls. The base has a base fold (6) and a forms fold base that is arranged between the front walls. A flap is provided in the interior of the bag and is aligned to the inner surface of the one of the front walls. The flap is fixed along a longitudinal side at a bag inner side. The flap is made of plastic.
