The aim of the invention is to provide an axial bearing device having increased force density and a simple construction. Said aim is achieved by an axial bearing device having an annular electrical sheet arrangement, wherein the individual sheets (80, 90, 170) protrude radially outward. In addition, an electrical coil is provided in the axial bearing device and is inserted into the electrical sheet arrangement to generate a magnetic field in the electrical sheet arrangement. Said arrangement comprises at least two concentric electrical sheet rings (8, 9, 17). All adjacent electrical sheets (80, 90, 170) of each electrical sheet ring (8, 9, 17) substantially abut at the inner circumference (14, 18, 19) of the respective electrical sheet ring. Said lamination (12) results in increased iron filling relative to conventional lamination (11). |
