<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining method in which a lower layer part is prevented from being damaged by laser beams by performing laser beam machining only on a surface layer part of a hollow three-dimensional structure (a multilayer structure) by laser beams guided by a liquid jet. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining method is provided for machining the hollow three-dimensional structure 1 having the surface layer part 11 with a machined part 13, and the lower layer part 12 disposed through a space 14 interposed between itself and the surface layer part 11, by laser beams A guided into the liquid jet B2 jetted from a jet nozzle 21 of a laser beam machining apparatus 2.
