<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict occurrence of inaccurate reading-aloud. <P>SOLUTION: In an automatic transaction device 1, a phonogram string which expresses the phonetic of a target character string from the target character string containing Kanji characters is compared with a Kana character string which expresses the Furigana of the target character string and consists of voiceless sounds, voiced sounds to the voiceless sounds, and at least voiceless sounds among p-sounds, and any one of the phonogram string and the Kana character string is selected in order to read aloud the target character string based on the comparison result.
