<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable for pressure detection which is easy to be manufactured and has a structure easy to be designed in accordance with a required accuracy of pressure detection. <P>SOLUTION: The cable for pressure detection includes: a center separator; a plurality of core wires; a peripheral conductive layer; and peripheral separation means. The center separator has a lengthy shape formed of an insulator. The core wires are made of linear conductors and disposed along the center separator so as not to come into contact with each other. The peripheral conductive layer is made of a cylindrical elastic body having conductivity on at least the inside surface, and disposed outside the center separator and the plurality of core wires. The peripheral separation means is disposed inside the peripheral conductive layer, and forms a space between all of the plurality of core wires and the peripheral conductive layer when no pressure is added. Then, at least the peripheral conductive layer is deformed in accordance with the added pressure, and the peripheral conductive layer can come into contact with two or more core wires out of the plurality of core wires. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
