In order to effectively improve heat insulating performance between the outside of a storage container and the inside of a storage chamber, the storage container is provided with: a container main body with an opening; a door member configured to close the opening in an openable and closable manner; and a temperature managing unit with a function of making the temperature in the storage chamber (2) enclosed by the container main body and the door member different from the temperature outside the storage chamber. The container main body includes: a first heat-insulating material (14); a second heat-insulating material (15) disposed partially on the side opposite to the storage chamber (2) with respect to the first heat-insulating material (14) and having a heat conductivity smaller than that of the first heat-insulating material (14); and a heat-storage material (16) disposed on the same side as the storage chamber (2) with respect to the first heat-insulating material (14) in at least a part of an area where the second heat-insulating material (15) is not provided as viewed from a thickness direction of the first heat-insulating material (14), the heat-storage material (16) formed by one or more kinds of material that undergoes phase transition between liquid phase and solid phase between the temperature outside the storage chamber (2) and the temperature in the storage chamber (2) produced by the function of the temperature managing unit. |
