<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying apparatus capable of reliably correcting the posture of an article of a substantially flat shape to a horizontal posture. <P>SOLUTION: The article conveying apparatus 1 includes a conveying means 10 in which pockets 15 for holding articles 100 are circumferentially formed in a row, a supply means for supplying the articles 100 to the pockets 15, and a posture correcting unit 50 having a rotating body 61 in which a contact surface 65 brought into contact with the articles 100 in an erected posture in the pocket parts 15 is formed at the outer circumference. The rotating body 61 of the posture correcting unit 50 is arranged to diagonally intersect with the row line L of the pockets 15 in a developed plan view, and inclined from the orthogonal surface 11a to a driving shaft 11.
