PURPOSE: A plate glass boring system is provided to increase productivity and to reduce manufacturing costs by boring large plate glasses with a continuous automation process. CONSTITUTION: A plate glass boring system comprises a base(100), a plate glass feeding conveyor part(200), a plate glass boring part, and a plate glass discharging conveyor part. The plate glass feeding conveyor part comprises a fixed guide roll part(220), a width adjusting guide roll part(250), and a plate glass pressing part. Multiple sliding rolls of the fixed guide roll part are installed on transferring belt conveyors of one of the outermost sides and guide one side part of the plate glasses. The width adjusting guide roll part moves toward the fixed guide roll part to adjust width and multiple contact rolls(272) of the width adjusting guide roll part guide the other side part of the plate glasses. The plate glass pressing part presses the top of the plate glasses. The plate glass boring part comprises a supporting frame(310), upper and lower drill units(320,330), and a transverse adjusting unit(360). The upper and lower drill units are transferred in a transverse direction on the supporting frame and bore a predetermined hole through the plate glasses. The transverse adjusting unit adjusts the transverse transfer of single or multiple upper and lower drill units. The plate glass discharging conveyor part is composed of multiple rows of the transferring belt conveyors. |
