<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image erasing method which completely erases an image recorded on a surface of a medium to be recorded and is easy to perform an on-demand processing for getting a state capable of making a base material of the medium to be recorded reusable, and to provide a method for reproducing, an image erasing apparatus and a reproducing apparatus with regard to the medium to be recorded. <P>SOLUTION: A method to reproduce a substrate of a material to be recorded by removing an image forming material from the material to be recorded having an image of a hydrophilic image forming material on the surface has a process to supply water or an image removing liquid of an aqueous liquid to the image of the material to be recorded and a process to scrape an image face of the material to be recorded. In the image erasing method of the material to be recorded, a part of the hydrophilic image forming material is permeated into a receiving layer of the image forming material, the material to be recorded has the receiving layer at one face on the substrate, the substrate does not change in quality due to the image removing liquid, the receiving layer includes an uncured aqueous polymeric material which is dissolved or swelled by the image removing liquid and disintegrates by dissolving or swelling by the image removing liquid or at least relaxes a bonding state to the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
