<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents an exposure member from being stained. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 employing an LED exposure system for exposing a photoreceptor drum 20 with an LED includes an LED unit 16 having an LED array 72 for exposing the photoreceptor drum 20. The LED unit 16 includes: an LED cover 77 that moves between a closed position where the LED array 72 is covered between the photoreceptor drum 20 and the LED array 72 and an open position where the LED array 72 is withdrawn from between the photoreceptor drum 20 and the LED array 72; and a deformation member 84 that disposes the LED cover 77 at the open position when a developing cartridge 22 is attached to a process unit 15, and disposes the LED cover 77 at the closed position when the developing cartridge 22 is detached from the process unit 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
