<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat reclining device that smoothly and reliably prevents the rattling. <P>SOLUTION: The reclining device 1 has: a toothed member 2; a guide member 3 having guides 3b, 3c; first and second slide members 7, 8; and a turning member 4. The turning member 4 has: a first pressing part 6b1 that presses the first slide member 7 so as to engage the first slide member 7 with the toothed member 2 when the turning member is turned in a locking direction from an unlocked state; and a second pressing part 5b1 that presses the second slide member 8 against the slide member 7 while the first slide member 7 is being engaged with the toothed member 2. A force converting mechanism 12 is provided between the first and second slide members 7, 8 in order to covert the force that presses the second slide member 8 against the first slide member 7 into the force that causes the first and second slide members 7, 8 to cooperatively thrust against each other between the guides 3b, 3c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
