The invention relates to an illuminated cane that consists of a handle and a rod joined together at one of the ends thereof, respectively, and further, a rubber support tip on the other distal end of the rod. The handle includes a space for accommodating at least one battery or primary batteries connected, via an electric circuit, to a plurality of electric lamps at different positions along the inside of the rod of said cane. Said handle also comprises an electric switch which has a built-in button, which is connectable to said batteries, and which turns said lamps on/off, and the rod of the cane includes a series of elongate tubular parts which telescopically extend and retract by nesting into each other by means of an automatic triggering mechanism actuated by a switch, such that the cane can be both retractable and extendable. |
