<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which has a core-shell structure and uniformly covers a core layer with a shell layer while maintaining the low-temperature fixability and also which suppresses the filming of a photosensitive body by preventing chargeability from being lowered and has excellent heat-resistant characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises a main portion composed of a main component particle containing at least a crystalline resin, an amorphous resin, a release agent, a colorant, and an inorganic base, and protruding parts formed on the surface of the main portion by resin fine particles. The toner has a sea-island structure comprising the main portion as a sea portion and the protruding portions formed of the resin fine particles as island portions. In a range of 15 to 35% of the surface area of the main component particles, the crystalline resin is exposed onto the surface of the main component particles. Furthermore, the resin fine particles forming the protruding parts cover 30 to 60% out of the surface area of the main component particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
