PURPOSE: An artificial diamond molding apparatus is provided to reduce bubbles in artificial diamond by pressurizing materials to be molded under vacuum atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: Hydraulic pressure-based presses(120, 130) are arranged at the upper part and the lower part of a chamber(110). A mold base(140) is horizontally installed between the presses. The mold base includes a through hole(144). An upper mold(123) and a lower mold(133) are formed at the piston tip parts of the pistons(122, 132) of the presses. High voltages are applied to the molds such that the molds are conducted. A material to be molded is heated at high temperatures. A vacuum pump(116) generates vacuum in the chamber. |
