PURPOSE: An electric excavator system is provided to improve work efficiency by widening the operation range of an excavator and to stably and uniformly charge storage batteries. CONSTITUTION: An electric excavator system comprises a power supply unit and a power receiving unit. The power receiving unit comprises a charge-discharge control unit(215), a power distribution setting unit(340), and a generator power control unit. The charge-discharge control unit controls the charge and discharge of storage batteries(210a,210b,210c). The power distribution setting unit distributes the charging and discharging power of the storage batteries. The generator power control unit controls power generated from a motor generator and supplies the controlled power to the storage batteries.
