PURPOSE: A portable terminal capable of measuring radioactivity is provided to apply a radioactivity measuring function to a cell phone, thereby easily measuring the radioactivity. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal capable of measuring radioactivity comprises a body(10) and a sensing unit(12). The body measures radioactivity. The sensing unit is mounted in the body, thereby sensing radioactivity. The body comprises a display unit(14) and a controlling unit(16). The display unit operates an application for measuring the radioactivity. The controlling unit utilizes data being input through the sensing unit for the application. The controlling unit generates alarming when an input data value is higher than a pre-set standard value.
