FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves recording optical density spectra of diamond crystals in the infrared range using a spectrometer. Absorption bands are determined after recording optical density spectra. Natural or artificial origin of colour is determined from the set and relative intensity of absorption bands in the 1360-7000 cm-1 range. ^ EFFECT: determining signs of artificial radiation exposure, as well as signs of artificial radiation exposure and subsequent annealing of diamond crystals. |
