The mining housing (1) has a housing jacket that encloses a working drum (8). The inspection openings are provided in housing jacket for monitoring the condition of working drum or tools provided around working drum, using a monitoring device. The locking device is provided outside the housing jacket so as to close the inspection openings. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) construction machine; and (2) method for monitoring condition of working drum of construction machine.
