PURPOSE: A biomass solid production system and method are provided to recycle pyrolyzed gas and tar produced in a torrefaction process of biomass, thereby improving the quality of solid biomass. CONSTITUTION: A biomass solid production system comprises a feeding unit supplying biomass materials; a processing unit(5) comprising a torrefaction device(10) for torrefying the biomass materials supplied from the feeding unit, and a tar removing device(20) for removing tar from torrefaction gas produced from the torrefaction device and delivering inactive gas to the torrefaction device; and a forming unit(7) for forming the torrefied biomass using the tar from the tar removing device.
