PURPOSE: A composition containing Dendropanax morbifera extract is provided to relax smooth muscle of corpus cavernosum penis and to improve male sexual function. CONSTITUTION: A composition for improving male sexual function contains Dendropanax morbifera leaf extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using water, alcohol of 1-5 carbon numbers, or a mixture thereof. The extract is a fraction prepared by fractioning Dendropanax morbifera extract with butanol, hexane, methylene chloride, acetone, ethyl acetate, ethyl ether, chloroform, water, or a mixture thereof. A functional food composition for improving male sexual function contains the composition as an active ingredient.
