Proposed system comprises: refillable container (2) with storage compartment (4) to accommodate at least two separate sets (6) of packaged tobacco products (8) where storage compartment (4) can be opened to get access to at least one packaged tobacco product (8) in each of at least two sets (6) and closed to prevent access to at least two sets (6) of packaged tobacco products (8); air conditioning facility, made capable to maintain preset humidity inside the storage compartment (4); and inventory facility containing at least one of one or more sensors installed in storage compartment (4) of refillable container (2), and facilities for automatic identification and data input which operate while storage system of packaged tobacco product is used by consumer to provide information concerning quantity of packaged tobacco products being stored in storage compartment (4). ^ EFFECT: more convenient storage. ^ 13 cl, 1 dwg
